  • Argo I/C chain skipping problem.

I have an old argo I/C and the idler chains skip very badly. I didn't see a way to adjust the transmission to tighten them. Can anyone help?

    Thanks!

there are 2 long bolts that run through the frame and the engine/trans cradle, located under the trans, and not easy to get to. loosen them up a couple turns. then sitting in the drivers seat there are 2 bolts with jam nuts that run down toward the bottom of the machine (located at the base of the trans) loosen the jam nuts, then tighten the bolts. this will raise the engine/ trans cradle and tighten the idler chains. once they are set, tighten everything back up and off you go.
