Need Buying Advice

Hey new to the forums and 6x6 here and looking at this Argo Amphibious 6x6 6 wheeler I talked to him and he said everything runs good.... Is it a good deal? When i look at it fri what should i look for specifically so i will know if there will be issues or not... Thanks!

Not trying to scare you but I just spent more than $2200 repairing a 96 8x8 argo with only 500 hrs on it. I thought it was in good shape when I bought it. So far all new bearing, chains, seals gasket, tensioner, rebuilt trans and now Im in the process of removing the engine because it blew out the gasket on the main casing. IMHO save your money and get something a couple years old with less than a hundred hours on it. Unless that is if you enjoy fixing them more than riding.

Tizbass, I could copy your post and put it down word for word but mine is an 86 8x8 I/C and did a 3 year stint at a fire hall in Perth, Ont. and then til 5 years ogo it worked a maple sugar bush. I'm still working on it. I wonder if bz183 got second thoughts?
