  • I'm new to the forums, but have enjoyed my Argo for a couple of years now. It's a 2011 Avenger HDI, well equipped with alternator, bilge, winch front and rear, 18" rubber tracks, heater, aluminum top, LED lights front and rear, even a couple of dome lights so I'm not blind in the middle of the dark night! Mainly use it to access our cabin here in Utah. Planning to buy a 2nd 8x8 so a couple of families can get in without round-tripping.

Looking forward to sharing my Argo adventures/questions with you!

      • Great shots with the Phantom. That's a good looking Argo as well. What causes the circular sand patterns?

        • I knew somebody will ask about it, it is made for sea water circulation for mangrove trees , it hold the sea water when high tide , to help mangrove grows , they planted more than 100,000 in area , and these circle help by keeping the sea water in low tide , you can see the mangrove trees in some shots

          • For those that don't know, the UAE is a major ally of the U.S. and supporter in the middle east. Welcome Alsuwaidi a, It looks like you have some excellent riding conditions there.

            • Hello I'm new to the forum, couldn't post in the introduction thread but I just got a 99 Argo Bigfoot 6x6 from my grandfather a few months ago. I custom made some led headlights for it, added a frontier brush guard, rear hand rails, 3000lb SuperWinch, Hardline tach and raised the governor to 4080rpm. Next I plan on adding some wider rims with Vampire ASX tires in 26x13-12 for this swampy mud down here in south Mississippi.

              • That's a clean looking Bigfoot there, the guard works on it pretty good. Post up what lights you used as they could be helpful for someone needing replacements. The slightly bent stick shows she's been stuck more than once.

                Welcome, have fun with it.

My new beer holder spilled some on the trails - in it's hair and down it's throat.
                Joe Camel never does that.

Advice is free, it's the application that costs.

                • That Frontier guard really dresses up the front of your Bigfoot. The lights are a great touch, too. Welcome to the forum.... go have fun.

                    • Thanks for the compliments! I used MicTuning MT-CHCR20 led lights off amazon. Had to remove the metal end caps and reseal the sides cause they wouldn't fit right with them on, then I cut some black plastic strips to fill in the small side gaps. Took a lot of macgyvering but they came out pretty good and they're super bright.
