As requested, I've posted some pictures. I will try to get some more of the engine compartment. If you have questions, I'll do my best to answer. I'll try to get a video next time I'm out. When I get new tires, they will be the 24 inch. I'll save the old 22"s for the tracks.

That engine compartment is FULL! How is the performance on it?Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well-preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways , cigar in one hand, whiskey in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming "WOO-HOO, what a ride!!!"

It floats better than the 20 hp Kawi. It will go more than 35 mph, verified by GPS, the last time I tried it. It will dig eight holes in hard packed ground if I get it up against something solid. When I get the 24 inch Argo tires on it, I'll put it up against anything, anywhere, anytime. I'll put a $100 bill on the engine hood and you and me sitting on the seat. From a standing start I'll bet you can't reach up and pick up that $100 bill in the first 50 yds.
The only problem I have, if you call it a problem is that the engine will get warm if I work it hard for long periods, depending on the outside temps. Thats one of the reasons I'm the only one driving it for any distance. Also there is no limiter on the rpm. An inexperienced driver and some unforgiving terrain and the wreck wouldn't be pretty.
I didn't put it together. I bought it from the guy who did, so I have no blueprints. If you are going to be in east central Alberta, send me an e-mail and I'll show it to you.
Just remember, nobody F?!>s with my truck, my harley, my argo or my wife in whatever order they come by in.

If the wind blows that 100 back to me, does it still count?
How many HP does that engine put out?
Have you considered doubling up your Rad (heat exchanger)?
If that is a stock set of Clutches?, be carefull taking the RPM up past 3600, you quite literally have a bomb under the hood, and if they come apart neither that firewall, nor the Argo body will slow the pieces down.

The engine is aluminum. I don't know what it weighs. The machine floats up in the water a little higher than the kawi. I think the engine is about 65 hp at the flywheel. I don't usually drive it very hard. I don't have to. It burns about the same amount of fuel as the 20 hp kawi under normal circumstances. I also have a 98 model eight wheel conquest with the kawi, and a 81 six wheel with the single cylinder tec.
I usually only open it up if somebody wants to show me something. Even a couple of friends with argo's didn't know what I had till I took them for a ride up a steep hill when we were out in the bush.One buddy figured we only touched the ground twice on the way up. You wouldn't know it from any other argo, except for the exhaust sound.
I don't know about the engine clutch but the driven clutch looks like the original argo clutch.
I'll make sure that $100 is stuck on so it won't blow off. You'll be hangin on and beggin for mercy!
