i have an 04 argo big foot with a soft top. will it be warm enough in winter weather or will i need a heater to stay toastie?

Depends on your winter weather.
Actually, I use mine in NE and SD ice fishing and playing in the snow and stay warm. It's kinda nice. My quad buddies look like peoplecicles with frozen eyeballs when we travel and I like to ask them ... well, you can probably guess by the response I gave you above.
For me - warm enough.
