  • Argo seats

Hi all , I have been thinking of recovering my rear seats in my Conquest and was wondering how to remove the seats from the body. keeping the Argo covered I have gotten what looks like a slight beginning of mold on the seat material. The material is the camo color to match the camo body of the. It has become very faded and would like to replace it or at least for now clean it. What could I use to clean it that also would be safe to to use near that camo body that would not remove that. Something got spilled once on the rear floor panel and it took about a 1 foot square area of the finish off the floor. Any ideas ? Thanks MIArgo.

On my conquest the seat simply lifts right out of the frame, no problems at all. Not sure about your machine though...

My front seat lifts out of a frame also. I also have the two seats that face each other in the back of the Conquest and I can't tell how they are held in place. My brother-in-law was looking at them today and he thought that they snapped in place. I just don't like reafing up on something unless I know thats how they come loose. Thanks for you reply though. you were talking about your front seat right ?

If its anything like my seats they slide towards the center of the maching aka towards themselfs and lift out. Now my PO had a screw in each from the bottom up u can see them by bending into the tub and looking under the seats.

Look under the plastic that the seats are on. You'll see a finger sized nub and also a large washer. Use your fingers or a tool to wedge the plastic away from the seat, so the finger sized thing can slip out on top. Then slide outward 'till the big washer is in the big hole made for the waher to lift out of.

There's two sets of these things per seat, on each end.

Thanks to all, Sorry for late response, been busy. Roger looks like this is how I'll proceed. Camo fabric is really faded and has a little mold formed from being covered alot. Thanks Again.
