That is almost enough wood to cause your tire to rub a hole into your tub.

People talk about how the rear of an argo swings around in turns.. this is an example when that doesn't happen

Yes, exactly. I was going to point out that same thing.

I have some more "Argo Abuse" video footage, and am thinking about writing a short review on the Avenger HDI, as I have taken one out for a good ride. More to come later.

That's a neat looking load, looks like you have a boulder on the hood, lol.

this is how the previous owner destroyed the tub on the argo I'm working on.

the tires rubbed holes in the tub and the tub got deformed under all the weight (got wider and lower).

yours got the metal rack that will keep it in shape but mine didn't.

I would recommend a rack like mine , as well as a front Pushbar, to anyone with an Argo. They are a real benifit in most conditions. I couldn't begin to tell of how many times I've pushed others or been pushed through holes. It also helps with the heavy loads, actually this was not a huge load, I just didn't want to bother with straps.

smog, does yours look like this one?

I think if a guy braced the rear rack off of the hitch, either internally or externally, that would prevent the body sag under extreme loads. RD's conquest is certainly a tank. I always thought it was overbuilt, 'till I saw how he uses it.

The HDI from the above post is now braced internally with 2 pieces of 4" flatbar, running from the frame up to the splitline/rack.
