built a trailer today out of trash I have been accumulating and it went great. I used my spare axles to make the axle and connected the two with a piece of square tubing which slide hammered right on. the bearings are made from scraps of plastic commercial bathroom partions. drilled out on a mill. amazing stuff that cannot be described. I recommned trying find some. it holds a thread like nobodys business. My friend hauled most of a moose out in a trailer that had bearings made from it. I think it is about an inch thick. next time you are sitting in a bathroom stall made from plastic take a look. in bathroom partion work they will screw a short little screw into it and it will hold for years. I hope to figure out how to post pics soon.
