pictures taken while converting my sagging 1987 argo 8x8 to a Centaur type 8x8. (ongoing built)

went from a Kohler K582s flat twin 950cc to a chinese Honda GX 620cc vtwin (tweaked)

That is a heck of a change. It almost has a KID look to it now thanks to the sweet diamond plate bed. Nice work. Have you gotten to take it out yet?

the 2 last pictures were taken yesterday; the bed isn't attached to the cabin. last week I ran it around the backyard just for fun (no cabin or bed).

I realy like sitting in front like a max4 but will enjoy flotation of the 8x8 and wide tracks in the deep Canadian snow.

The reason of the project was a badly beaten top body with a completely redone mechanical components; and my secret admiration for the max IV.

also, it's easier to get argo parts than any other AATV when you live in Canada.

That looks like a lot of fun smog. How does the tranny work with the motor sitting on the other side of it? Keep the pics. coming for updates, that thing rocks!

most sheet metal are installed; still have to make the centaur bumper fit the wider argo 8x8 tub (an argo is almost 4 inches wider than a centaur at the body lip)

Still have to install the headlights and the backrest inside but it's functionnal and almost completed

you should have seen me bending the tubes on the water well; not exactly a commercial setup but the 2 bent arc were perfectly made and identical. (trick is to weld them together so the 2 tubes follow the same path on the concrete pipe)
