looking to buy a big foot any advice?

hey guys, i'm new here and to 6x6ing. my name is trevor and i'm ready to buy a bigfoot. i've skimmed here for a few days looking for tech tips and my scope of knowledge has expanded quite a bit though still limited. so far it seems i have to travel a distance to pick one up so what are things i should be inspecting? are there any questions that might avoid travel only to see a clunker? what should i be looking and listening for? any help is appreciated. looking to get a gem for a reasonable price without mechanical difficulties, thanks.
