what size tires fit old argo

Hi , I am new here. I picked up an old 8 wheel argo yesterday ,with an 18 hp Tecumseh, probably mid 70's,am sending a note to ODG with ser # HTB 4472 to find out. It has 20x10x8 Runnamucks on it that are finished. Only one possibly holds air.
Will 22x11x8 fit?
Would Carlisle strykers be a good choice? I am not very concerned about swimming, more rock and some mud and swampy areas.

It is actually newer . It left the factory in sept 1981. don't know if that makes it a 1981 or 82. Wilf,

Yes HTB did not start till '81, HTB means heavy duty(front style gusseted axles every axle) T tejunksie B 8 wheel version, 22's will fit just fine
