it will depend on the transmission. there should be some letters stamped on the top of the case. post them and (assuming no gears have been changed out over it's lifetime) someone should be able to get you a close guessA well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed. -
I finally got time to clean off the transmission... The number is 13878GA. Can anyone help me on top speed of my "87" argo 8x8? It looks all original. Also, what is the official name for it??? someone said "kroler 17" or "Conquest" or is it just an ARGO 8x8? Thanks for any hellp!Comment

I have a "87" ARGO 8x8. It has a Kohler magnum 18hp (Walbro carb). and transmission #13878GA. The info sticker on the motor is unreadable. The machine looks to be all original.
1. Looking for top speed for (low,high range)?
2. Looking for correct model of the engine (M18,MV18,K623???) for an "87"?
