Getting snow flurries in maine and its making me think... im planning on using my response 8x8 alot this winter ice fishing. Im wondering how this 8x8 will do in the snow without tracks. Anyone have experience driving in snow with and without tracks? Obviously wont be able to drive around in 3ft of powder. Any opinions of what to expect this winter?

youwill be good in 10 inches or so my 6x6 bigfoot with 25 inc tires handles 12 inches no problem. you do have to drive alittle diffrent but you will get it quickly

i have found that it depends greatly on the snow conditions, i have been stuck good in about 7 inches of wet snow, and yet still driving through a foot of dry powdery snow, it will take a bit of experimenting for you to find out what yours will do. with tracks, truely amazing oh far you can go.

Im running 1/2 worn out 22in runamucks. haha! Sleds usually make paths on the lake like roads so if I stay in the packed down "lanes" on the lake I should be allright? I guess im thinking about it too much...
