  • What batter for a 2001 bigfoot?

I know the one in it is 530 cranking amps national brand i think. It looks like a small skinny tall, but what is the "type" or model battery for my bigfoot? I would like a nice battery thats going to work very well under cold conditions.

I checked my charging system and its ok, just an old battery is all, what have you had the best luck with (please dont tell me walmart every atv battery i have bought there has been junk).

    Go to Walmart..

Seriously, we figured out it's a group 51 battery, there's probably two variations, for reversed post positions. I did buy my last one at walmart a few years ago, but havn't seen them there recently. It fits some older Honda car models.

So you were right. I went and picked up an autocraft gold 51-2 625 cranking amps ( 500 at zero deg). Should do the trick

Just walked through walmart, they have dozens of 51-4 batteries, if anyone's interested. $67. What happened to $39 batteries? a thing of the past, I guess.

It's 50-50 at wallmart if the battery is even any good. Although last time I returned one I got the core fee which I didn't pay so I made 13 bucks off it. Still had to drive 30 miles to closest store twice so I prob broke even

I've Been using A small Diehard in my argos for years now.It started when
I couldn't keep my techumseh charging, and the Diehard can take a pretty
hard beating but it costs $110. That techumseh is gone but I still
            use the battery.
