I was out "trying" to take the axles off the 6 wheel Argo "parts wagon" I bought & was eyeballin & trying to figure out if welding up an aluminum frame & adding another set of axles was beyond my meager abilities
so I was eyeballin the hubs & how well they aligned & was really surprised to "SEE" a REALLY visible difference not only in the camber & caster type thing but also with the toe in/toe out type thing going on...
turning the hubs, it doesn't look as though the shafts are bent though...is this "normal"?
Looking at the frame & some of the cuts, holes, & welds, I'm at a loss...I would have thought that the tooling & patterns would have at least been set up so that the wheels would have been in alignment in the frame, geeze, a high school shop could have done better...and the welds??? Looks like somebody just smeared boogers across the top...I'm not sure what year model this is or how many "repairs" have been made to it, but I DID find a thin film of blue RTV on the inside of the outer bearing...
..sorry for the semi rant, but the more I looked at the "engineering" that went into this buggy, the less impressed I was...
Comments????
