Going to pull all axles and drill some divets for the set screws. I went for a ride today, first time since hunting season. The lake is not safe to cross yet with all the mild weather so I used the logging road to get to my camp. peaple were using 4x4 trucks to travell which created 6-8" deep ruts in the road. This made the argo pull from side to side, in turn putting pressure on the set screws holding the axle in. I was driving along and all of a sudden she just bound up, Right about the halfway point in the ride. Unloaded the cargo i had on to get the jack out, but it wasn't there. I thought about backing in the shallow ditch but it was digging in pretty hard and i didn't want to break anything so I took all of my extra tow rope and cables and ratchet straps and drove up on them, it was just enough. Looked on the right side and the second from the front was also close to coming out so fixed that aswell. Dark was coming so when I got it back together I didn't bother putting the chain back on. By the way it was the front left. what a difference in traction without that front tire pulling, really sucked when that side got out of the rut. This is the third or fourth time now even though i'm using red loktite. RD's conquest axles look like the perfect cure for my problem. Except for the $$$ to do it.Any other suggestions guys?
