Check this out! Wanting to buy this one but doesn't look like I can make it work with the same belt because I need to move the engine forward because it will hit tranny. How hard is it to measure belt length after installing motor on custom motor mount? just kicking this idea around!

Cool Motor! I want one now.
There is a formula for calculating the new belt size taking into account both pulley diameters........and then there is the fast way. If your belt is correct now, measure pulley center to center. Now measure your belt. If the new motor moves back 1", measured pulley center to pulley center, you will need a 2" longer belt. If the pulleys remain the same, all that has changed is 1"longer top of belt and 1"longer for the bottom.
Just make sure you measure pulley-pulley not mounting holes because the height to the crank could change. It probably wouldn't be enough to matter, but why risk it.

I installed that motor in my Super Swamp Fox. I had to switch out belts too, but with my sliding motor mount system I just ordered a belt that I knew would work, then slid the motor rearward to take the slack up, and it was done. I did use the same rough meaurement that thebuggyman1 suggested so I only had to make a slight adjustment to the motor.
I also have the 22hp diesel motor that A-1 sells. That will go in an AATV in the near future. Its a bit smaller externally so if anyone is searching for that sized engine, I know it will fit either a Max4 or Max2. More to come on that project. A-1 Biofuel currently is out of those but will be restocked by early spring.
