I would imagine that the plastic bars that you have attached to your tracks have made a big difference in traction.

I think they do. I'm thinking of changing to steel and a little more agressive.

I've got steel one's with an extension and they're a lot heavier than your plastic ones. I'd stick with those, if they work !!!
