What were you fishing for? How thick was the ice?

Looks like at least a 10" hole, must have been fishing for something BIG

looking good, as far as ice goes i have been accros as little as 1/2 inch with no tracks. i am curious how much of a change the tracks make. have not had the chance to test yet.

without the tracks my machine would be stuck in the slush.it will stay on top of what you cant walk on.

Depends on a few things, like how loaded you are, quality of ice, width of tracks, ect.
I've fallen through a couple inches of ice a few times, hard to make any guarantees. I've also fallen through about 6" of rotten lake ice. Ice is a gamble every time, have you checked out number1cas's thread?
