bearings and chains

hello everyone, and this site comes thru again. i found a local bearing distibuter for diamond chain and AMI bearings for the bigfoot totalling $ 764.00. more than i wanted to spend based on what i have read from around here. the chain didn't bother me too much, but the bearing costs were basically the same as argo. so after some thought i came here again and found people talking about Buffalo Bearings. i just got off the phone with greg there at buffalo and what a relief. first he knew what an argo was, secondly he was familiar with the parts i needed and three it will all come to half the cost if not less. a pleasure for sure and peice of mind to be dealing with someone who know what i'm talking about especially when i'm not to sure. i recommend them for any of the other newbies like me.

i've been buying parts so i can revamp the drive train all at the same time. this is the first time i tackle this so i'm apprehensive. i couldn't get any definitive info on the bearings other than 1 1/4" so it was good that they had previous experience with the 6x6's. i hope it all works out. i just need to get all the data for these parts to buy them from other sources other than argo. it turned out to be a big releif for me. i enjoy this bigfoot more than anything and just can't stand the thought of it being down while trying to sort all this out. anyway this site is a great source of info for me a newbie.
