I'm told that the 2009 750 EFI Argo Avenger wouldn't need the 126-08 extension studs and the 605-77 axle extensions if I were installing tracks. Can someone confirm that? Also, I'm told the one piece 18 inch rubber tracks are better than the Standard segmented or Super track. What is your opinion on that?

You don't need extensions if you are putting STANDARD width tracks on, but you will need them with the 18" wide tracks.
I have both rubber and plastic tracks, and I would have to agree, in most conditions, that the rubber are better. Although, if I was to run any tracks in the summer, it would be standard width, not the 18" wide ones. I also believe that the rubber tracks are harder on the machine than the plastic ones. It's a "catch 22" kind of thing.

Zircon, My friend and I both have the same machine as you and run the rubber tracks year round. I have 1200 or so miles since last spring when I bought it and my friend has about 15 or 1600 miles, both have had the tracks for all those miles except about 100 each when they were brand new. I lube my chains about every 3 or 4 rides and have had 0 problems, the Avenger handles the tracks very well in my opinion. I do not plan to ever take them off, I don't see a need to. I do not have any chains over the 2nd adjustment yet and I expect to see 3000 miles from these chains at this rate of wear. (Hopefully anyway) My tires are like new and in fact still have the paint pen on the tread part where I marked the sizes while installing the tracks, they also still have the little rubber "flap" in the center from the molding process so I should see many, many years from the tires. Overall I am very happy with the tracks and the Argo itself. Sorry I do not have any experience with the plastic tracks, but talked to a guy here with them and he said he has been stuck a few times as the plastic would not grab enough in sloppy clay to climb over the steep bank or submerged logs/stumps. I have not had that problem with the rubber ones. As for the spacers, as RD said, you do require them for the rubber tracks and the super tracks, you will also want rear mudflaps as they throw the muck up from the back into the seating area!! So that's my 2 cents.....LOL!09' ARGO Avenger 750 EFI
