    i have recently aquired a 99 argo conquest, nice machine. ran it around and it haslots of power with kawasaki 620. now its time to rebuild. wireing is a little jury rigged. i have the schematics but have a few questions. 1. previous owner bypassed voltage regulator is this normal when you have the 40 amp alternator? 2. where are the alternator wires supposed to go one to the battery and the plug??.if anyone has the install instuction it sure would help me,

    Here's what the instruction show - I don't have a scanner here at the house otherwise I'd send you the instructions.

    1. Alternator from the Argo Kit has a internal voltage regulator. The unit that is on the Argo is disconnected.
    2. Heavy wire goes from the alternator post to the battery. Plug with two wires (yellow & orange) plugs into the alternator. Orange wire runs from the alternator to the regulator light on the dash. Yellow wire connnects the reguator light and runs to the 6 prong connector. Another wire runs from the alternator to the 6 prong connector.
