Just Ordered a 2008 Argo Avenger

Avenger--factory heater

Kovac--All of the EFI Avengers that I have seen run very cool. They don't go over 170* F on hot summer days. They run about 130* F in cold weather.I doubt that a engine coolant heater is going to do much for you. If you look through the screen into the cool air intake in front of the radiator you will see two round pipe shapes headed toward the driver's knee. Those are the knockouts for the heater plumbing. My rad fan blows so much warm air that with the roof on we get lots of heat and removing the cup holders leaves two holes facing upwards to blow air onto the windshield. Let us know what you do.

Went for a short ride yesterday (still working on putting together tracks) with the top on it is VERY noisy inside. much louder than my max was with a top. Has anyone put in any sound proffing to help with this. Also how do I know which transmission I have low geared or high geared.

My cup holder with a 42 oz. cup and 1/3 full works ok. Probably a lid and straw the way to go. The best thing you could do to the bigfoot is spend $300 on Matt's beadlock wheels so you can air waaay down. Completely different machine in ride and rubber on the ground, and drink holder stability

On the Bigfoots I think the manual said min psi was 2.3 or 2.7. I run 2.5-3psi, never popped a bead...though I have been at the bottom of a major hill woth 3 adults 2 kids & 2 flats.

Argo doesn't, WHAT WERE THEY THINKING.

However, aftermarket K lock style 9" wheels for argos are now made and sold! Last I heard $50 ea.

Support bracket for avenger winch

does anyone have a picture of the support bracket for the winch on an avenger?

Kovac- the support bracket ia a large hoop bolted to the frame and to the hood support at the front center. I don't know how it could be photographed after it is installed because it's pretty crowded in there. Are you thinking of making your own? Are you planning to get the rear attachment and wiring? are you getting the wireless remote control?

I was thinking of trying to make my own, but it does look very crowded in there. I think I see the bolt holes down on the frame in the fron. But it looks very difficult to reach. I havn't thought to much about the type of winch yet.

I would like to know if you had tried your tracks out in deep snow or mud.
I got in some snow about 4 FT and found a little underpowered.was thinking about selling mine and getting a new EFI.

I saw one at the Cottage show and priced it out. They gave me a quote of 25k CND but I am not sure what that included. It looked loaded with every conceivable option other than a plow. The guy fired it up for me and we took a little run and I found that the steering was quite. The older ones had this whinny noise when you turned or at least mine does. The engine did not seem too loud but it was at a cottage show so back ground noise could have covered that up. It ran really smooth and I really liked the Coffee holders. As far as the T-20 goes I am going to have to spend some time with one to see what all the fuss is about. Or should I say a-boot!

I find the fit finish, style, ergonomics and use of space allot better then the Max or at least the Max’s I have seen.

If you find that the Dynamat is over priced try Roofing rain and Ice shield just add more and better glue behind it. 3m super 77 spray glue should work 3m super 90 is good almost too good the nozzle gets gummed up fast .
