outboad motor mount

i have a 1972 argo 6x6 and i have a motor mount on it but not anyting that comes up from the trailer hitch. In the upper body there is a board on each side and one in the gap in the body inbetween. Can i put a 6horse outboard motor on this without having a mount cominig up from the trailer hitch? Thanks!

probably not. the back of the argo will twist or roll on you. i bought my lower bracket from argo.

what is the lower bracket like? maybe i can make one myself?

You need a support that goes from your hitch to the leg of your outboard motor. I've used a 10 hp. motor with this setup.
