He could have at least waited a few seconds before he did that.

That was funny. The guy running back and forth on the quad reminded me of watching a cartoon or something.Kind of like wylie coyote and road runner. You seemed to come up out of the water easy. Did you have tracks on?

no tracks, just the new argo heat tires. I was experiencing a power loss though and thought i would remove the hood. I think i have a carb issue of some type. if you listen you can hear the loss of power. I must say the new argo heat tires are great, and i think this shows that they do infact swim.

At around 2:10 you can hear it sounds like im letting off the throttle, but in fact I have it twisted all the way. Any thoughts?

Great videos. I would remember the guy that threw mud!
Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well-preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways , cigar in one hand, whiskey in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and screaming "WOO-HOO, what a ride!!!"

It sounds like it's a fuel delivery issue. How often does it happen? Were you low on fuel? If you pull the choke, does it run fine then? Blindly guessing, my first attempt at solving that would be to simply clean the carb.

i have found that the best way to fix the accelleration and idle problem on that motor is a simple in line electric fuel pump...get one that puts out about 2-5 psi and mount it on top of the fuel tank (as close to the fuel supply as is convienient) and then bypass the unreliable mechanical one mounted on the front of the motor...that splice in the fuel line right there is a great place for a fresh fuel filter and makes it quick and easy to check to see if you are getting fuel (if you use a clear one)... those motors seem to always starve for fuel expecially if the rpm's are low and the vacume driven pump delivers week fuel supply...you will also probably notice that steep uphill angles are less likely to starve the motor and stall it out

                    video looks like great fun!

So I have previously installed a new diaphragm pump (oem) and an electric fuel pump located off the tank in line. My tank was 3/4 full. I have noticed that by pulling choke it keeps her running but way low on power. I notice it most up hills that are really steep, but only once it's warmed up. I removed the hood to see if it was heat related but it made no difference. It has almost caused me serious harm, when you loose power when it's most needed. I have cleaned the carb before but think it must be a warn component of. I think maybe after I go up a steep inclune omitting might happen with the super cheap float. I will have to inspect it, but feel like I have been chasing this issue for over a year. The biggest problem is it doesn't seem to be an issue till it's warmed up, although I have wondered if it is what occurs while it warms up, ie steep hill runs. If you have ever been to Vermont then you would know there is almost hills

This also happened after extended runs in high gear at full throttle. But not always just 50-50

It just left bobs, and he did great work. But he would have to go ride it for awhile to see the issue.

I would think if you were losing power it would either be a govenor problem or weak engine. Has the compression been checked? I would think if you were lacking in fuel you would be sputtering and or dieing out.
