  • How much is a 66 track kit worth?

I'm trying to figure out what a fair price for a very low hours used track kit is worth. Need help please. Argo 6X6 18" poly tracks with complete 22" wheel/tire assy's and spacers for a direct bolt on, also has the argo cleats installed. Its all perfect with what appears to be little to no wear. Off a machine with 70 hrs. Tracks likely have less than half that used on snow mostly. After looking around on ebay and argo stores, I'm coming up with as much as 1500, but some suggested they can be had new for half that? What? Dont want to gaff anyone, but would like market value. Thanks.

I did find this used set for $1400, no wheels or tires.

And these for $1599, no wheels tires or spacers or even cleats.

$500 for the wheels and tires alone. spacers used are $20 each at least. I see used 18" tracks in the $1500 range a lot. I'd ask $2300 and negotiate from there.

Thanks vader for your thoughts on value. I suppose I could craigslist, or ebay and get
2k or close to that...... Or maybe Castro will offer me something reasonable?

Oh I priced a new set from pointswest and its 2760 + shipping for all the kit I have minus the cleats.

Yes yours are very nice, but not new and not from a dealer.... I am very often wrong and don't want to offend anyone but 2k seems like a lot for where we are for snow tracks in the summer. I recently bought a set of tires and wheels like new same ones you have with kit for 300$ just so you have an idea. If you keep then then we should hit the sled trails come next winter :-)

I have a feeling the argo might be too slow on snow for what I'm used to. I have an 011 Cat 800. lol.

something is weird here, because ive priced out the poly supertracks 18" the entire kit was 1700 new , it was the rubber tracks that were 2700 for the kit for 6x6. i think adrenilinJunky has the poly tracks and they commonly sell for 400-1000 here for a good set

Nope. Here is the exact email I got from the pointswest argo dealer.....his prices are usually better than most.

"The kit is $2765.84. It contains the 625-43 6x6 Track Kit, 6 125-13BL
                      wheels, 6 Valve Stems, 6 Carlisle/ARGO 22x10-8 Tires."

On the website; Part # 625-50 rubber track kit $3195 + ship. Let me restate; $ 3195 FOR RUBBER.
You might be thinking poly track part # 625-43 for $1605.80 plus ship WHICH DOES NOT INCLUDE WHEELS or TIRES. or SPACERS.
                      More evidance;
Argo BF poly super track kit part #625-37k $2765.84 link; Buy Argo Accessories Online
My kit also includes the sought after runamuck tires that are like new......and optional cleats. C'mon guys.

                      Glad I did my research.

Photo_B135EE70-6A59-9D43-FCB8-6B93648187A3.jpgThe kit your refering to R.L. doesn't come with 6 wheels and tires though. (or cleats) Just the wheel spacers. Maybe I'm off a bit, but if they were mine, I wouldn't take less than $18-1900.
Then I would use the money toward a set of Adair's. (just checked, A.J. is correct. No wheel spacers either, man I'm at work, I should probably do some work...........Nah.)

adairs kit is like 2800 plus shipping........

Anyone else question the longevity of those links they use? I know they swim better than other tracks but how well they actually perform in snow or mud compared to super tracks is also a q you gotta ask yourself. Floatation looks light, but grab bars look much more aggressive. I'd have to see them compared side by side with super poly tracks in different conditions like marsh and soup where high centering is likely.

I paid 2500...shipping included to Mass. for 17" wide. (for an 8x8, 6x6 are less)) They are built around 1" chain. The links and grousers are pretty much indestructable. I've been running mine hard on everything from rocky powerlines to swamps and deep thick mud. These tracks WILL DESTROY any track argo makes in mud. I'll let you know this winter how they do in deep snow. I got them in early March so I only got to test them in 18" or so. They ran like there was no snow. I have 200 miles on mine and they are still in perfect condition. I have TheJunkman and Mike D as witness to how these tracks perform. They also added 1 1/4" clearance to my Frontier. I'll run through ANYTHING and I haven't used my winch since I put them on. Nothing will beat these in marsh mud swamp etc.

do the adairs run on the same 22 inch that the polys run on? I think i am going adair and stick with my 13 inchers for snow. I am just starting to see that I got a smoking deal on my tracks and tires. Do you require spaceds for the adair tracks?
