new old argo

just bought a argo magnum 8x8 with kohler magnum 18 serial# kb 7275 any one know what year it could be? is it a good machine? its mechanically sound good chains and all runs good. but will have to rebuild left master cyl. are these problematic machines?? i had a terra jet but it was to old smokey and loud!

You can go to Kohler's website and look up the year of your engine to get an idea what year your Argo is. I have never owned an Argo, but I believe there are quite a few other members that run Magnums.

search this site for 'argo manual'. or goto beaverdamargo.com... in the middle there are downloads for argo manual. it will have serial numbers to dates. mines a 'NKB' witch is an '87'. I'm asuming yours will be older.
