  • argo taking on water

just wondering if it is normal for my argo 93 magnum to take on a bit of water while in the lake....

yes could easily just be a loose rivet or two on the full skid plate or the norm worn out seals, just put a bilge pump in and make sure your charging system is working

a little water may come on through the axle seals during normal water use. As long as it's not pouring in you should be ok, but if your going to be in the lake a while, best to put a bilge pump in.

thanks for the info,i do have a bilge pump, because of the eng. in the front will or can the pump handle the water, with the pump in the back and higher up...thinking of putting an outboard on the back, may trim the argo a little also...all new to me just learning...thanks again....

In an argo you should locate the bilge pump in the front as low and close to the front as possible because thats the lowest point in the water. Having an additional one in back wont hurt anything.
