    got a red 6 wheeled argo.kind of old.where is the v.i.n located?

I used the search feature on the site and the first couple of posts I came across are here:

Depending on the year of your Argo, it looks like the serial number will be on the firewall or or the dash.

                  Hey Blue,

Welcome to the site. This board will be a very useful resource for many of the issues you might have as you get to restoring that vintage Argo of yours. This sight has the absolute best people and archives available for this hobby. Some things to keep in mind as you go along:

                  1. Check out the search function first. There are tons of write ups about most things you'll have questions on. From posting pictures to how to drain the fluid in your trans.

                  2. the How to section is great for things like bearing changes etc common to all these machines.

                  3. This is one of the most helpful NICE group of people you'll run across on the web. That said because we appreciate niceness you'll find there will be more help forthcoming by not being mean-spirited and abrasive. Calling the picture uploader stupid etc.. may stem from frustration but if you read the articles about how it's done, the system works great.

                  4. If you have an issue different than the topic of the thread you may want to start a different thread specific to your problem. More people will see it that way.

                  5. Lastly spend some time navigating the site reading different things. Not only will you learn were stuff is and how to find it, you'll also see really cool stuff from our hobby that has taken years of this board to archive. Enjoy!
