Side Vents

The mesh on the side vents (1996 Conquest) seem to pop out all the time. Has anyone came up with a remedy for this?

Make a new vent mold out of heavy duty mesh (can be bought at any hardware store) and rivet or bolt it in, should last.

Good idea.
My buddy made new screens out of 1/8" Punch Plate. Bit of a pain to mold it properly, but once it was bolted in it was super srtong. No roblem to stand on it even.

Really, it was a true exersize of patience. With it being a progressive radious bend to get it right, there was a lot of trial and error. Lots of "flex it a bit this way" kind of things happening. It looks great now, and works even better.
