      Well RD,

I would like to say I am some uber-hunter but that 64 took me 12 years and ALOT of time hunting to get a moose over 60. That was my childhood goal and I tromped all over those mountains and the biggest I got was 53. Having said that, the first year I got the Argo, I got that moose. Probably shear luck but that year we saw 5 moose over 60 inch. Needlesstosay, since then I haven't been back due to family and work requirements. Oh well, next year for sure!

Secondly, like RD I have a ton of videos of hunting and stuff that i took with my Argo and a Gopro, but unlike RD, I haven't been past that point and been able to edit them to the point to throw them on you tube. However, this IS an argo forum and we all like to see vids of our machines in action so I am going to make a concerted effort to get some of that done in the next few months.

Here is the one pic of pulling another moose out. Easy breazy when snow is on the ground.img_5094-0.jpg

thats a beauty buddy. Like i said, i packed out one moose with the flu bug and a 101.9 degree fever, filled full of dayquil and tylonl too. Decided id skip my second only year of hunting and get mechanization, volia, argo. Im counting down the days to go hunting, and simotanously adding a red top optima battery, new voltage regulator and rectifier. And mounting up a 3000 lb super winch.

We hunt 20 miles & 5 hours in. We try and stay for 10 days so we quarter them out and hang them in the field depending on weather. Still trying to crack the 60" mark too. Just tunned them both up, new idler chains & a couple bearings to one, new break pads to both and adding 4 ITP mud lites to the wifes, I'll run tracks in and then take them off. I'M Getting PUMPED Up!!!!!

I'll try and make the pictures smallers this time.

We got this one at night, it was about midnight when we came out of the bottom. We used a down log & the argo that night to get the meat hanging. It was the next day that we took it to the hanging tree about 100 yards away form camp.

You all take Moosehead beer moose hunting right... just a tip that works for us. lol

Awesome!! Something special about moose hunting terrain that gets me fired up. Nothing better than venturing in where you know you will not see another person until you venture out. I think the invention of the Argo was a sad day for Mr.Moose.
