  • Track / Tire Direction

Just wondering when I put on my new to me supertracks should the tires be facing foward or backwards? I have the same older style tracks as the pic in this post:

    Should they be >>>> or <<<< ?

    Tks!

my theory is if you run the tires in reverse (V pointing down looking at it from the front) it might help clean out the tires inside of the tracks a little which might help reduce buildup and tire slippage in the track....otherwise probably no noticeable difference in performance either way...

    Just my thoughts

Thanks! When I lay out the track with the Argo emblem facing foward it looks like the the raised sections inside the tracks are set-up for the tires to run 1 way so they can grab.... also tehre are some straight bars in the middle.... I'm wondering should I align the tires with the tracks (non-swimming direction) or does it really matter?

      Anyone else got any info?

I'm with obsessed on this. I don't think it makes a noticeable difference.

I think Argo says front and rear forward and middle ones backwards... why? No idea, I run mine all backwards (swimming direction) because I sometimes take the tracks off for fishing and I want to be able to swim without having to remove tires. I don't think it makes any diffrence to the operation of the tracks.
