Help with Argo serial number

I know this is an old thread but I am dealing with Argo now. Previous owner stated they never registered it. I have given my engine and tranny serial numbers and they have replied that they don't match so they can't help me. Anyone know of another way to get this registered? I'm in MN if that helps.Originally posted by eightwheeler View Postno no thats fine, they have been through this many times it will just get created in its current form

I emailed Argo my number on the plate on the dash and they sent me via email a form that I took into the MTO. I got it registered and plated(had the plates). The tag has a serial number and model number. Pop rivetted to the dash close to the steering arms.

Argo Data tag.jpgThat's the problem. The guy I got it from painted the tag and when I tried to clean it off it wiped off all the info.Originally posted by Laird View PostI emailed Argo my number on the plate on the dash and they sent me via email a form that I took into the MTO. Agro says the engine serial and color match the build of a 2006 blue Avenger 8x8 but the tranny serial doesn't match but it is from a 2006. I'm arguing with them right now about it. This thing only has 101 hours on it. The tranny hasn't been replaced. It's almost like new. Not sure what to do from here.
