  • Argo Conquest Brake Rebuild

I had one Brake acting up in each Conquest, so I finally had a chance to look at them. Decided that the easiest thing to do was rebuild them, that way I was assured that I would get any old Brake Fluid and/or water out of the system.
Since I had a request to make a Brake Vid, I took this opportunity to throw something together. It's not my best work, but I'm having some dificulty finding time to play on the computer lately.

It almost seems that some folks think there is some great mystery about Hyd Brakes, and that may be true (to some extent), but Argo Brakes are quite simple contraptions.

Thanks for the video RD. This is something I think I may have to do to my conquest.

yeah it's a big help, not ready to take on the brakes yet. still have to get that flywheel off and find that screwdriver tip. on a side note....anyone have any idea why the laterals on the argo's get sloppy and sometimes hang unevenly when not in use? could it be as simple as the springs being worn out, do they wear out??
