  • Argo Frontier in the Marsh

We had another good hunt in the Missouri marsh. The Adair tracked 8x8 Argo Frontier ran through the mud, swam across the marsh, and broke the ice without missing a beat.

Here is a pic of my son at the end of the hunt.

After running with different brands of agressive atv mud tires, and then running the Adair tracks, I,d never consider going back to any kind of tires again. The Adair tracks go through the conditions you mentioned so much better than any brand of tires , swim fairly well , and also smooth out the pot holes on the trails a whole lot better than tires do.

You should have seen this machine work as our ice-breaker, Dave. The marsh and lake had ice nearly 1 inch thick, and we usually have to break through either by stepping through a bit at a time (hard on the shins), or punching holes through using a metal post. I used the Argo to break a large half circle perimeter around where we wanted to place our decoys in 1/10th the time that we could have done it ourselves. We then pushed the broken sheets of ice under the larger ice pack of the lake.

I also used it to pick up ducks that landed too far out on the ice for the dog to get to, as she kept breaking through.

Hmmm, an inch of ice eh?
I was out a couple weeks ago, to my cabin. Tried to cut through the ice with my chainsaw, has a 20" bar on it, and I couldn't get through to the water, lol.

Nice machine, and nice birds too :-)

Bud: That machine looks great, especially with the Adair tracks! I bet its a real performer. An inch of ice sounds good for here, we've only recently had a freeze here in East Texas and as a result got rid of the mesquitos.
