  • Argo Vanguard Bearing Extensions

Sorry all Hunting season has come and gone and now ice fishing is coming up. got a new thread. I have a 1989 argo 6x6 vanguard, I wanted to put bearing extentions on it but the frame does not have the front tube member to bolt the extentions to. is there an alternate solution

Julios57, try this link as the bearing extensions they offer are bolted on both sides of the axle. Argo Parts Argo HD Axle & HD Bearing Upgrade Kits Exclusive! HD Axle & Bearing Upgrade Kits

          Bearing extentions

Hi all. Already posted a question re. this topic. My 89 vanguard does not have the front tube cross member drilled to accept the bearing protectors. It has been suggested to just reverse the protector from front to rear. The dealer says he never heard of this. It looks feasible. Will do it but have a concern about drilling holes behind front axle into frame. I have to cut out the under body skid plate to do so. easy to cut and drill .Not so easy to plug holes. any opinions welcome
