Todays newbie question - Are Argo Bodies Interchangable

I have two 8x8 Argo's both need some TLC, my question is are the lower bodies ( tubs ) interchangable? I have a early 80's s/n TB287 and a mid 80's s/n KB5205. The mid 80's has the better drive train but the early 80's has the better tub. Figured I could make one good unit from the two.

Absolutly, they are interchangeable and yes the KB is a much better machine but why does the Tejunksie model have the better tub?

The KB has some damage where too much force was placed on the trailer hitch and the tub split. I suppose it could be repaired, but the tub on the TB is perfect.

Must be I have had better luck because I love Tecumsehs.

lol ok i am just mean, i would take an OH16 over any china junk out there anyday..............but thats about it lol
