To answer your question straight up Here's a post. Oh yeah, I should mention that the part numbers in here are for a conquest - but I did check your vanguard parts manual to confirm that they are the same. (You still shouldn't take my word for it - scroll to page 11 and 12)

I don't know your situation but if the HD bearings interest you then from a conversation I had with Adair Argo I believe their conversion will work with any argo and is "easy". Give them a call for the skinny and to find out what "easy" really means.

Thanks for the info are the inter and outer bearings different

Yes. Page 12 Ref# 5 is the outer bearing and Ref# 5a is the inner bearing. It's kind of hard to find them on the pic on page 11.

Ok got th bearings ordered from buffalo bearings now on the outside cork seals does it take 2 for every axle
