winch solenoid help

Anyone know where the positive and neg. goes on this solenoid. It is not marked and no one seems to know. It is on a 2000 conquest with a superwinch. https://picasaweb.google.com/lh/phot...eat=directlink

Put them on. Either it will run or it won't. If it won"t, switch them. If it runs the wrong way, switch them.

I tried that before and it fried the solenoid.

I would guess that the two middle spigots are + and the outsides are -.

One large post on the outside should go to battery positive the other large post should go to the winch. The smaller inside post should have a wire to your switch and the other post will go to ground.
