The original battery that came with the Argo Avenger is pretty well shot. Can't easily replace it with original Argo equipment ... dealer not that close ... so, any recommendations for a good battery ... one that will fit in that space under the seat, of course.? Use the winch quite a bit for plowing in the winter ... that might limit the choices.

Take a look at odyssey batteries. I put one in the bazooo and use my winch quite a bit and am very pleased with the performance of it.

Agreed - Odyssey batteries rock. I have one in my Jeep which I abuse regularly, and 2 in my Max IV (in parallel) - power for the winch is never in doubt.Comment

I seem to smoke battery's quite often then again I use the winch so much snow plowing,I did two things got the battery measured up and it was the same as some Honda car model and bought one from CTC with a big warranty on it so I get it replaced for free,and put a set of clamp on poles in the back to add a battery to for extended winch use,problem solved.Comment
