  • 2011 750 efi with adair tracks and new synthetic cable

I didn't want to post any pics of my new ride as promised, untill I had installed the synthetic cable, which was backordered. In the meantime I had a chance to beat on the new machine a little, and try to get stuck or break something, all to no avail.(So far)The new admiral tranny in high gear is so smooth, and is very sensitive,as I was able to make slight adjustments in direction on glare ice with the adair tracks, without spinning out. Low gear is pretty intense and takes time to get the "feel"of it. The argo needs to be moving slightly to turn, or it seems to "grab and lurch".I am able to go down all the trails that I cut in my swamp for my old 6x6 vanguard, as I am able to turn just as sharp in low. As for the adair tracks, what can I say, besides they are awesome! There is no way I can go thru my swamp without getting stuck, without the adair tracks, period.I just installed the 100' of synthetic cable on my winch(sorry it's 4000lb, not 4500lb) I did however, get all 100' on with the longer spool, which I am going to test right now. This stuff is so much easier to work with, but will need to be more careful with abrasions. So far I am very pleased with the preformance, and glad I spent the extra to get this setup.DSCF0061.jpgDSCF0062.jpgDSCF0067.jpg

Thanks Obsessed. I wasn't sure about the leds mounted in front of the brushguard untill I smashed thru a stand of alders, the lights are very tuff! Also no glare mounted in front of the guard, and the "white" light is awesome! Less power used also.

Hi, I put synthetic cable on my 4500lb winch last summer. Before putting it on I sanded the spool and everything to get as smooth as possible. Less abrasion issues. It is just great. I'll never go back to cable. I bought one for my friend to put on his 4 wheeler winch, he loves it.

                            Just a Note:
Don't let the Synthetic Rope get wet and freeze, you will never get it off the drum if you need it.

You're right. It happened to me this winter. But what I did is to hook it on something and either back up on with the free spool on or 1 time I did it the same way but by putting my winch in reverse. It worked for me
