  • 99'Response vs 95'Conquest differences, both 8x8'

Besides the B&S vs the Kawasaki in the Conquest, what are the other differences?
Are the tub halves the same?
    What about axles sizes?
    Maximum tire capabilities differences?
    Is the trans the same?
The trouble with retirement is.... I never get a day off !!!!

The Conquest came standard with the skid plate and front and rear axle bearing extensions (Response only has front). Conquest's upper body is slightly different in the front and hood area to allow for the engine height and radiator. Everything else is the same. I personally like the Response better as long as the optional skid plate is added. The Briggs is more reliable than the Kawasaki, although both are great machines. Seems to be more Conquests on the market than Response, probably because the top end vehicle always out sells the entry level in the amphib world.

      Thanks for the info.
We have the 2 seater(??) Attex's, just looking for more room and tracks for the snow.
The heater would be nice with the Kawasaki in the winter time, ice fishing.
But you can get B&S parts anywhere.
Plus the Response front nose seems to sit higher (probably due to the water cooled setup the B&S weighs less then the Kawasaki, ) and doesn't feel like your nose diving all the time.
The front skid plate is a BIG plus and I assume it and the rear extensions, we can add later.
      thanks...ed
