Has anyone tried putting a diesel in a argo 6x6 bigfoot?

What kind of diesel are you looking at?
I think one of these would fit 20HP V-Twin Diesel Engine With Electric Start : Carroll Stream Motor Company : www.carrollstream.com but why? for the price you could buy a 30 hp bandolero and reuse the clutch, exhaust, air ducts etc.

Well i was gonna put a (HATZ 2G40 diesel) in my argo but discided to put a (DEUTZ diesel) in....If we put the hatz we wuld have to replace the hood or have to plastic weld a custume hood for it,but i was wondering if anybody else has put a diesel in and how it worked out....

A diesel would be quite heavy, and the added torque might require stronger chains.

The weight of the engine is close to the briggs engine that they put in argos and wont really matter...
