Sometimes my Break lever gets excessive play, if I let the breaks cool down the lever returns to normal operation. Is this a machanical problem, something I'm doing or just normal?

I got it. Break Fade. Probably caused by two things, my driving skills, need to improve, no brake dragging. And, Old break fluid, It's time to replace the break fluid. Boy this sight is awsome -
Make sure that when you replace your brake fluid that you use DOT 5 type...The others can cause more problems....Even if you’re on the right track, you’ll get run over if you just sit there.

i changed out my brake fluid and it made a huge difference. I pulled out some old nasty sludgey watery junk out of it and replaced it with some clean Dot 5 and it made a world of a difference2003 Argo Conquest
