  • Lost my darn plugs

Went for a float this weekend, weren't there! Caught it right away, pulled it up on a bank and drained it back out....but for the life of me, I can't find them! I never take them out, I think someone is playing a cruel joke on me. Does anyone know what size they are and/or where I can find them? 2003 Bigfoot.

Walmart has them in the boating section, about $2~3 each.

Well I went to a Tractor Supply Store and a Napa. TSC didnt have any, and napa had some, but at an inch and bigger, so I was ready to order some today from Leo's, But I will check walmart first. Although, we are about an hour from any lake so I'm not sure how stocked up their boating section will be. Thanks guys! And I live in Indiana if you were asking me.

I had just bought my first argo, a vanguard with plastic tracks, and had it off the trailer about 3 min. before I decided to see how she swam. I got a good running start and ended up about 10 feet from shore, when I found out that an argo has a plug, and it wasn't where it was supposed to be. I also found out that plastic tracks don't swim. It was Nov., in WI, and I had to bail out in neck deep ice cold water to drag her back to shore before she sank.

Just checked walmart, they show them online, but they didn't have any in the store. I think I'll just call Leo's and make sure they aren't outrageously priced before I look too much harder. Thanks guys.

Thanks guys for all the help. Where I live in Indiana there aren't many lakes close, and therefore, there aren't many marinas or stores that even carry boat stuff. I called Leo's, They have em, will be about 22-25 bucks to buy em and ship. It'd cost me that much to drive to indy or kokomo in gas, and I'd rather support someone that lives and breathes in our sport, so I think I will just go that route. Still kinda bummed, I pride myself in not doing too many dumb things! But I guess even at $25, thats a pretty cheap mistake!
