    [QUOTE=McCoy

    Mine is not a conversion, it came from the factory with the handlebar steering.

    McCoy ,

    Since your Big Foot has the updated steering , does it also have the updated transmission too ?

      The last couple years of the Bigfoot had the updated handle bar steering but not the Avenger/Frontier transmission.

          Kevin, I thought that I wanted the new parking brake. Can you tell me why it is no good?

            I want to get the park brake, cause the brake there using to hold for parking is hydrolic and it bleeds down. and personaly i dont want to change the master cylanders because the fluid bypassed the seals. As for adding drilled rotors just pull yours off and take them to a good machine shop and they should be able to drill them.

              If you would like a hyd parking brake I have a solution. Look in one of these old hot rod, or offroad mag's, and you will eventually run across a line lock. There are 2 types. There's an electronic line lock for drag racing, and a manual one for parking ect... I'm talking about the manual one. You pull you'r brakes tight, pull the valve up, and it mechanically locks the hydraulic brake line. The single line ones are easy to find, but there are dual line kit's out there! The worst part of the entire ordeal would be having a set of custom brake lines made! I can get them done local for about $25 per line!

              Here's what I'm talking about!

                Good try Greasemonkey, I agree that for a slush tranny drag car, a Line Loc is a must have! In fact if you allow a bit of exageration I could say that my Avenger HAS a" cable operated line loc" The hand brake can be locked on with a little thumb lock. Now the problem is that Argo says NOT to use it as a parking brake because fluid will eventually leak past the o-rings. For 2008 they have added a parking brake--like a car. No dash warning light though!!! Man it's like 1960 all over again. I am hoping that Frontier Kevin will tell us why he says the hand brake is no good and for an experienced wrencher like you to tell us how to retrofit one, with a light! By the way, if I do lock my brake on , in about 3 minutes people burn their hands on my brake light!

                  Napa or any good industial supply house should carry the Mico Brake Lock,
                  simular to a manual line loc. It is used alot on tow motors.

                  Just my 2 cents .

                  Have a great day.

                    You can use a small peice of steel as a bracket for one of these!

                    To solve the hot bulb problem use one of these as a replacement for the normal incandecent bulb.
