Retail prices on websites are all the same as dealers are not allowed to advertise discount prices. When you actually phone or email the dealers, the savings are huge. Over $7k difference on a negotiated price "loaded" Avenger HDI with canopy, winch, tracks, windshield between here (Alberta) and there.
Of course, ODG plays the stupid "will not honor the warranty on new Argos bought in the U.S. and then brought back to Canada game", but you can get a lot of work done for $7k if necessary.
Not sure if it is ODG, the distributors or the dealers or even a combination that is gouging Canadians but someone is.

theCartman is correct,do your research believe you me the fellas south of the border are rolling on the ground laughing at what we pay here for power products,I have dealt in America for sleds and parts of all kinds and saved a ton of money,a fella on this site that goes by the handle of Smog can attest to buying a AATV at a heck of a price in the U.S,I would not limit myself to Canada jus sayin.NCT

I've overpayed! So is ODG giving their american dealers the huge discount allowing them to sell cheap or is our canadian dealers bending us over and breakin it off in us? I agree the
MSLP is all pretty close so either ODG or the dealer got me, ouch!

Trust me its not your dealer, they do the best they can but cant compete period,a number of years back I priced a Kubota front mount diesel lawnmower the local dealer I have know since high school,he absolutely went to cost plus shipping for me I seen the invoice and just across the ditch twenty miles from my house the dealer there which I had no history with cut the price I was given to shreds and I could have put the thing in my uncles name from Florida and not had to pay NY state sales tax.I still bought it from my friend he was doing the best he could and his service is second to none, but thats the way it is for the dealers close to the border and our money is so close now that the savings are real.NCT

Bought the argo back in June, bran new 750HDI camo, used it up in Haliburton in July, then went to visit my buddy in Cape Breton in August. Out there we went over some nasty stuff. He is an experienced ATV rider and I am a novice argo rider, his comments were, "the next time I use this trail, I am bringing a mule". The argo was fantastic...I love it! In some places we had to lift and lever up the ATV's to get through...no problems with the argo...it was a bit bumpy though.

You guys know any places where you can take out an argo closer to Toronto, without having to take the trek up north each time?

If you want a machine for Orillia or Gravenhurst area get a Polaris 6 Wheeler Sportsman, Half the money and better overall in the shield type terrain.
