  • setup to put argo in pickup??

what kind of setup do you have to make to be able to fit a argo in the bed of your truck. it's to wide to fit between the fender wells. i saw a video and it looked like they had some kinda ramp setup that went over the fender wells that the argo sat on. any pictures or diagrams would help me so i could get some ideas on how i am going to build one for my truck thanks for your help

I work with a guy that races custom built quad's. He has a similar setup to what you are talking about! His is actually a wood frame 2x4's that have diamond plate on top. It's basically a platform in each corner of the bed with the 2x4's connecting them. They are just tall enugh to be level with his fender's!

I made an "H" frame from 2x12' standing on edge and put 2x10s on the top to hold the machine. Quick, easy effective and the whole thing slides out in seconds.

I found the pictures. The plywood allows me to haul firewood in the truck for camping and when I have the top on my bed, the dogs can ride above the firewood on the platform.

I use a similar ramp set up that's on the picture exept with no beam between the ramps. As mentioned, it leaves lots of room under your machine for storage. Here's a picture of my Frontier in the back of my buddy's truck coming back from moose hunting last fall.

If you want to go Bling I have a custom aluminum bed for sale. It's designed to side load on a dually chassis . Easy drive on and drive off.

There is a company called Diamond back covers that make a ATV cover you can park 1600 pounds on it. It is made of Diamond plate and comes with ramps!

With out knowing the weight of your unit it may be worth looking as you still have your bed to store other items.
