Is it possible to swap out my 18hp Briggs for a 25hp? Have a 97 Response and was thinking about putting a little more power in it.

A 23 briggs would go in pretty easy. You'd need a custom muffler. Route6x6 sells one for $300 I think. That's as big as briggs goes in the small blocks, and I imagine you'd be happy. Going to a Kohler or something else.. I don't know how it would bolt up or the clutches would align. I guess a Max owner could us what the differences are in an 18 B&S to a kohler. A 25 will have a bigger crankshaft so that means a new clutch.
