I have the chance to purchase what is being described as an 1996 ARGO Bigfoot. It is clean, meticulously maintained, low hours (just a shade over 100), good tires, kept clean and garaged. They want a very reasonable asking price.
The question I have is did ARGO make the Bigfoot model in 1996? I can't find year-by-year model lineup information anywhere. I know they made the Vanguard and Vanguard 2 in '96, but no mention of a Bigfoot model. Was the Vanguard 2 sort of a precurser to the Bigfoot?
I haven't had a chance to go and look at it yet, so I don't have information from the vehicle. The pics the seller sent me are low resolution, so I can't read the ID tag. There are no stickers on the rear that say 'Bigfoot' like you would normally expect.
Finally, what should I watch out for on this model? There are bound to be problems/issues specific to this year/model. Thanks in advance for any help you guys can offer. BBJ
